Our Manager of Talent Acquisition is responsible for overseeing the Recruiting shared services functions, responsible for defined territory which would include sourcing and screening candidates in Provider positions for a state or regional positions, providing analysis and creative direction of the recruitment function.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or closely related field from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of four (4) years' experience of direct recruitment experience in the healthcare field
- Supervisory experience highly preferred
- Previous experience in recruiting for corrections, a plus
- Previous agency recruitment experience, a plus

ResponsibilitiesGather the necessary data and provide a detailed analysis of the various aspects of the recruiting function, as well as provide recommendations to improve processes as needed.Manage and provide leadership to the shared services recruitment team with a focus on managing the priority and critical recruitment needs.Review and initiate creative sourcing means to increase the Wellpath's talent pool in critical needs areas, targeting nursing positions.Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations.Guide shared services recruitment team in the contact of colleges, associations, and various other groups regarding employment opportunities and coordinating recruitment initiatives.Propose innovative recruitment ideas to continually improve the recruitment process.Conduct telephone and personal interviews with candidates for employment.Guide Recruiting Coordinators with advertising placement, verify advertising invoices, and track advertisement costs.Assist with conducting employment verifications, reference checks and assist with coordinating background investigations when needed.Assist with verifying licensures and credentials for nurses and other healthcare professionals when needed.Support the correct usage of iCIMS ATS by the recruitment team to assure more accurate and consistent reporting.Monitor special request offer letters and ensure competed accurately.Assist with site communications and relationship building, especially with nursing positions.Oversee the scheduling of recruitment events and career fairs for nursing positions.Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations.Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations.Must be alert at all times; pay close attention to details.Must be able to work under stress on a regular or continuous basis.Perform other duties as assigned.
